Beginner's Guide to (How to Trade as a Follower) – Help Center

We are very happy to announce that the copy trading system has been launched on SnapEx.

You can now copy Trade in SnapEx

How To Use

Click [Copy Trade] > [Trader]

Select the trader that you want to track

Click on the trader’s name to view their details.

Click [Copy]

Fill out the max order amount you want to transact, how much you want to copy their trades by principal or percentage.

If the box is ticked, it means that your default copy order is above 3 USDT, then you can make a copy of it.

You can choose to copy a trader you like, or even a few traders, you just need to fill out the transaction again to follow more traders. However, if the box is not ticked, it means your default order is less than 3 USDT and you can not make a copy of it.

When a follower decides to follow a trader, a page will pop up asking followers to enter a value for transaction.

Followers can choose:

The principal amount, or the percentage.

If followers choose a principal amount, the follower will copy the trade with a principal amount, and will need to enter the staking amount.

A follower’s principal:

If the follower's order margin exceed the maximum margin set by himself, the size of the order margin will be same as the maximum margin
Can be changed at any time

A follower’s amount：Trader ordering amount* principal amount percent (follower principal/ trader principal)

Example 1

Trader’s principal: 1000 USDT

Follower’s principal: 200 USDT

The trader creates an order with 100 USDT

Follow the amount：Trader’s order amount 100* principal percentage (follower principal 200/trader principal 1000)

Followers will copy the trade for 20 USDT

Example 2

Follower’s principal: 1000 USDT

Follower's maximum margin: 800 USDT

Trader’s principal: 500 USDT

The trader creates an order with 500 USDT

Follow the amount:

Trader’s order amount 500* principal percentage (follower principal 1000/trader principal 500)

**For example: trader’s amount < the follower’s principal, the follower’s amount will follow 1000, However the follower set it's principal to 800, then follower will copy the trade for 800 UDST.

Followers will copy the trade for 800 USDT

If you choose a percentage out of the order amount, you will copy the order according to the percentage of the order amount, so you need to enter your follower percentage.

The follower percentage can range from 1% to 3000%
Everytime a trader places an order, followers will copy the order with their following amount.

Follow amount = trader’s order amount * follow percentage

Example 1:

Follower sets the follow percentage to 40%

The trader creates an order with 100 USDT

Follow amount = 100 USDT * 40%

Followers will copy the order for 40 USDT

Lock in Profits

After the order copied by the follower is closed, the system will lock 10% of its profit until the settlement on the same day, the dividend will be distributed to the trader's account, and the rest will be returned to the follower.

*If the follower records a loss, no lock will be made, and the remaining order amount will be sent back to the follower account.

*If the follower records a profit, a certain percentage of the profit will be locked as the expected dividend first, and the rest will be distributed to the follower account.

About the profits

Only 10% of the profit of the copied order will be locked, The rest of the profit can be withdrawn on the same day and the locked 10% will also be settled on the same day, If there is any remaining, it will be returned immediately after the settlement.

About the follower

The follower can instantly unfollow a trader that they followed
Followers can close/close the position orders that have followed the trader at any time
